Southampton’s New Arts Complex, Southampton

Whilst at Howells, Minesh worked on a range of projects including the Southampton’s New Arts Complex.

Situated on Guildhall Square in the heart of Southampton's vibrant Cultural Quarter, Studio 144 is the city's new arts complex. It houses the John Hansard Gallery, the community film organization City Eye, and the Mayflower Theatre, the largest theatre company on the south coast of England.

The new complex consists of two buildings comprising of flexible arts spaces including four main exhibition spaces, education and workshop rooms and temperature-controlled storage areas.

The theatre is located in the north building and features a 450-seat flexible performance space with retractable seating, a dance and rehearsal studio, a box office, dressing rooms, and additional support and retail spaces.
